Our Association Policies and Ethical Principles

Our association is a civil society organisation that is open to cooperation at the national and international levels, transparent and accountable, and adheres to the following fundamental principles:

Gender Equality and Prevention of Discrimination

Our association promotes gender equality in all its activities and categorically rejects discrimination based on gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, religion or other differences.

Respect for Human Rights

Respect for universal human rights forms the basis of all our association's work. We are unconditionally committed to the dignity, freedom and safety of every individual.

Child Protection Policy

The protection of children from abuse and the assurance of their safety are priorities in all of our association's activities. All staff and volunteers working with children are required to comply with these principles.

Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Practices

We consider the environmental impact of our activities and prefer methods that do not harm nature in line with sustainability principles.

Ethical Conduct and Anti-Corruption

All our employees and volunteers are expected to avoid conflicts of interest and fight corruption. Transparency and honesty are our core values.

Participation and Local Ownership

We encourage the participation of target groups in our projects and value local knowledge and experience. The active participation of all segments of society in the process is supported.

We are transparent and accountable to our donors, the public and beneficiaries regarding the use of our resources. Our audit reports and activity results are shared regularly.

We prioritise accessibility in all our services and activities and strive to remove structural and social barriers that prevent individuals with special needs from participating.

Employee Rights and Safe Working Environment

Within the association, we prioritise fair wages, social rights, and a safe and harassment-free working environment for our employees.

Compliance with International Standards

In our projects and programmes, we act in accordance with relevant international agreements, ethical rules, and donor institution policies.
