We participated in the “From Evidence to Action: Addressing Pesticide Health Impacts and Strenghtening National Response Systems” meeting, held in Istanbul on December 18, 2025, in collaboration with FAO and GEF.
Our board member, Assistant Professor Dr. Burak KURT, represented our association at the meeting with his presentation titled “Building Capacity on the Front Lines: A Project Success Story.”
Our supervisory board member, Specialist Dr. Onur ACAR, gave a presentation to participants on “The Role of National Poison Control Centers.”
During the afternoon session, a “Collaborative Roadmap Workshop” was held to discuss the steps to be taken by Central Asian countries.
Our association president, Prof. Dr. Muhsin AKBABA, contributed to the meeting with his insightful comments.
As BİYOSIDER, we will continue to strengthen rural health through national and international collaborations.
